Patient Recognition for outstanding care
Each month, the OCFP is highlighting family doctors from across the province who were recognized by their patients for the essential care they provide.
According to Statistics Canada, Ontario’s population is ageing rapidly. More than 4 million Ontarians are 60 or over, and nearly 3 million more are between the ages of 45 and 60, meaning care for seniors has never been more important.
Ontario’s Family physicians are answering the call by working in community clinics, hospitals, long-term care facilities and beyond, supporting patients through every stage of life. They take the time to understand what is important to their patients and make recommendations that align with their patients’ needs and priorities.
